| Introduction |
The organizing committee of BioAsia
2008 and the scientific committee of the International
Conference on Life Science 2008 are pleased to invite
leaders, professionals, experts, peers, researchers,
academia and other related biotechnology community
to submit papers to be included in poster
session for the International Conference
on Life Science which will be held in conjunction
with BioAsia 2008 from 25-27 November 2008 at Queen
Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok, Thailand.
The theme of the conference is “Well Being
for the Human Race” covering the broader
business and academic issues of biotechnology industry
and it is the only conference in Asia dedicated to
the entire aspects of biotech within one roof.
The committee has carefully designed conference program
to ensure the high quality both in contents and renowned
world’s speakers. We are pleased to announce the presence
of Juan Enriquez, Chairman
& CEO of Biotechonomy and Founding Director of
Harvard Business School Life Science’s
Project as one of honorary keynote speakers.
Many world renowned speakers and experts will be piled
up to ensure the enriched plenary program of the conference.
For this year, another highlighted program will be
the poster session with the aim to provide conference
participants and poster presenters with additional
opportunities for discussion and interaction on biotech
issues. This interaction will cultivate the world-class
collaborations and networks among academia, research
organizations, peers and industry professionals.

| Poster Abstracts Submission
Guideline |
Important Dates:
- The deadline to submit abstracts is extended
to September 30, 2008!!!
- Notification of acceptance: 20 October
2008
- Poster presentation dates: 25 – 27 November
2008
Poster Abstracts Submission Guidelines:
- Maximum length of one A4 page and not more than
250 words.
- Use Time New Roman font with the following format:
- Title: 12 pt, bold and centered
- Author’s name and address: 10 pt and centered,
with the name of presenting author underline.
- Text: 12 pt, justified
- Methods of submission
Poster Presentation Guidelines:
- Information of the poster’s author, presenter
and contact details
- Please list the author’s name, and presenter’s
name with their organizations, addresses, phones,
faxes and email.
- Please list the public contact’s name, organization,
address, phone, fax and email as the person to
be contacted for further information regarding
the poster presented.
- Poster information
- The poster will be mounted on a PVC board, with
displayed space of 90cm.in width and 150cm. in
height. The poster must contain the title, author’s
name, presenter’s name, address, objectives, materials,
methods, summary, results and conclusion.
- Poster presentation
- Poster will be presented on 25-27 November 2006
at the area allocated for poster presentation.
Selected poster will be given one time slot lasts
for 20 minutes for presentation. The morning session
starts from 09.00 – 12.00 and afternoon session
starts from 13.30 – 17.00 hrs.
- Presenter must present at his/her poster station
during the time slot designated for their poster’s
display and should be prepared to explain their
presented work to the attendees.
